Remote Adjustments
Sometimes patients find it difficult to make into a clinic for an appointment or need support from home. In addition to providing care via phone or video call, if you have smartphone compatible hearing aids our clinicians can connect with you remotely to make minor adjustments.
How does it work?
When you use Bluetooth-capable hearing aids from any modern hearing aid manufacturer, you can also connect with your hearing healthcare provider through that hearing aid’s dedicated app. Using the app gives you access to virtual adjustments and appointments and puts everything you need to know about your hearing aid in the palm of your hand. It may allow you to access extensive product-related information, as well as relevant articles that can help you explore ways of getting the most out of your hearing aid.
Virtual Appointments
Using the app, you can interact with your hearing health professional without an office visit. The app can send real-time data about the performance of your hearing aid directly to your audiologist and you can chat about that data in real time.
Virtual Adjustments
Once your audiologist has assessed the hearing aid data sent via the app and spoken to you about your progress in meeting your hearing goals, he or she can connect directly to your hearing aid and adjust your settings to best fit your needs.

Virtual Cannot Always Match In-Person
We can help you through a lot of troubleshooting and make minor adjustments remotely, but there is a lot that still needs a personal touch. When something goes wrong, an in-person appointment for hearing aid cleaning and repairs and/or cerumen management may be required. If coming into the office is still difficult, we offer home visits to support you.
